Our last Spring Container Workshop was May 16-17, but as a result of receiving so many phone calls in the last few weeks asking when our next one was we decided to have two more. These additional Container Workshops will be for one day only and will be combined with other free workshops that we offer.
Join us on this Saturday, June 6, for an additional Container Garden Workshop along with our Succulent Garden Workshop. The workshops start at 10 and are ongoing throughout the day till 4. Come in anytime between those hours.
To participate in our workshops and receive FREE POTTING SOIL AND ASSISTANCE, a minimum plant purchase of $10.00 per container is required and you must use plants and/or accessories purchased at America's Best Flowers the day of the workshop.
After you have shopped for your succulents, plants, flowers, and containers just pick your spot in our designated workshop area and let the fun begin!
Succulents are the newfound FUN plants for today’s consumers. No longer limited to the gardens of the Southwest, gardeners are finding new and creative ways to use nature’s most durable plants. Easy to care for, all you need to do is forget to water them. They make perfect house plants as well as striking patio specimens.
Our workshops are a hands-on experience, so be sure to bring your garden gloves. If you forget them, don’t worry, we have a wide variety of reasonably priced gardening gloves to choose from. Our knowledgeable and friendly associates will be happy to assist you while you do the planting and will help with any and all plant or design questions.
We do ask that if you are bringing in containers from home, please EMPTY all soil from them before bringing them to our greenhouse.
If you are bringing in large containers please bring in packing peanuts, chunks of Styrofoam or Styrofoam egg cartons to help fill the bottom of your container. It makes the container a whole lot lighter for you to transport back home and also, easier to rearrange in your garden if you want to change your outside decor.
The second additional Container Workshop will be on Saturday, June 13, and will be combined with our Miniature Garden Container Workshop.
