Nope, I’m not talking about either Lucy or America's Best Flowers this time.  Last week Hubby and I went to the Chazen Museum of Art for the very first time.  The museum is located on University Ave, on the UW campus and is very easy to find. We went to see an exhibit of forty five works of art from Florence, Italy.  The name of the exhibit is “Offering of the Angels: Painting and Tapestries from the Uffizi Gallery.”  The moment we passed into the exhibit area my eyes filled with tears.  Hubby looks at me and I can just read his mind ‘Here we go again with the tears!’

What can I say, when you are overcome with emotion what do you do?  Both Hubby and I recommend visiting the museum.  Who knows when you’ll get the opportunity to see art work from the late 14th to the early 18th century again?
