The scent of the fresh greens is intoxicating and brings back memories of Christmas traditions. I can honestly say nothing smells as wonderful as a greenhouse full of pine!
Our fresh green boughs are tied in mixed bundles for you to add interest and texture to your arrangements. Our bundles contain a mix of Balsam, White Pine, and Cedar. We have been overjoyed to see so many of you already purchasing your boughs, wreaths, roping, and trees for decorating your homes for the upcoming holiday season.
This past weekend was the first of our porch pot weekends and boy was it a blast! Thanks to all who came and spent the day with us decorating and creating your holiday pots. We loved seeing your smiles and watching memories created in our greenhouse. Ed would have loved hearing the sounds of the season fill the air along with laughter and cheer.
In talking with some of you at the porch pot workshops, I learned you are buying extra bundles of greens to make porch pots, swags and wreaths at home. Some greens are also being used to decorate mantles and to make table centerpieces for holiday entertaining. In fact, we have plenty of bundles and decorations for you to just take home, you don’t need to wait for a make & take event!
We have two more weekends left and they are filling up fast! Grab friends and family and head on over to our Cottage Grove location to join our Porch Pot Party!
Nov 30 & Dec 1
& Dec. 7 & 8
10 AM – 3 PM
Because the space fills up quickly, it is highly recommended to give us a call at (609)222-2269 and reserve a table.
Bring your friends and dress warm because the greenhouse gets a bit chilly this time of year! Don’t worry, we’ll have hot drinks and holiday music to keep us cozy. I look forward to seeing all of your creations!
