It?s not too late!
Fall is a wonderful time to plant many of the trees, shrubs, and perennials. This can be done right up until the ground freezes. The weather is cooler, so there is less stress on the plants. It gives plants time to establish a strong root system for next spring?s growth and flowering.
Now is a good time to plant your spring flowering bulbs. It?s a good idea to throw a little bone meal in the bottom of the hole when you plant the bulb. Bulbs love the phosphorous that it supplies. Bulbs can also be planted right up until the ground freezes.
We have plenty of bulbs left, as well as mums. Our pumpkins, gourds, Indian Corn, and corn shocks are here and looking wonderful.
Reminder that our fall hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Come on out!
